What if my Scout player device shows "Webpage not available"?
If your football practice device is not connecting and showing "Webpage not available," the device is most likely in Safe Mode.
To get the device working again, please follow the steps and video below:
- Restart the device. Once it turns back on, it should go to a phone home screen where it's prompting you to select a Home App. DO NOT select a home app (yet).
- Look in the upper right hand corner for the airplane mode symbol. Pull down from the top of the screen to see different icons. Pull down a second time so that the dropdown of icons takes up the whole screen. Then toggle airplane mode back off.
- Confirm that the device now shows LTE in the upper right hand corner. Then select “GoRout” as the home app and click “allow”.
- To prevent it from happening again: Make sure that when powering off a device, only tap the “Power Off” icon. If you hold down the Power Off icon for more than a few seconds, a window will pop up to put the device in safe mode. If you accidentally get this pop up, make sure you select “CANCEL.”
