GoRout devices are legal for professional, college, high school, youth & club teams in all 50 states for football practice, baseball practice, baseball in-game, softball practice and softball in-game.
As of December 2023, wearable sports technology has reached different levels of legality based on the sport and level of play. GoRout currently offers practice devices for football and in-game devices for baseball and softball.
- Football Practice Devices - Practice devices are LEGAL in all 50 states for use by professional, college, high school, youth and club teams. (Youth and club allowance varies on league by league basis)
- Football In-Game Devices - In-Game devices are ILLEGAL in professional, college and all high schools in 50 states. Youth and club use is LEGAL but varies on league by league basis. GoRout In-Game devices are currently being manufacturing as the Rules & Regulations Committee considers it for 2024 use and beyond. (As of January 2024, the Committee has granted some In-Game allowances for the 2024 season. More details to come.)
- Baseball In-Game Devices - In-Game devices are LEGAL in all 50 states for use by professional, college, high school, youth and club teams. (Youth and club allowance varies on league by league basis)
- Softball In-Game Devices - In-Game devices are LEGAL in all 50 states for use by professional, college, high school, youth and club teams. (Youth and club allowance varies on league by league basis)
