The positional allowance rules between Baseball and Softball will vary based on the level. Be sure to read your league's rulebook prior to play regarding device limitations.
When using the Diamond devices for Baseball, the following rules apply:
Professional: All positions are eligible to wear a device, along with unlimited devices allowed in the dugout, bullpen, coach box, etc.
College: All positions are eligible to wear a device, along with unlimited devices allowed in the dugout, bullpen, coach box, etc.
High School: Only the Catcher is eligible to wear the player device.
Youth/Club: All players are eligible to use the devices. No limitations within dugout, bullpen, other coaches.
When using the Diamond devices for Softball, the following rules apply:
Professional: N/A - Device Limitations Unknown
College: Only the Catcher is eligible to wear the player device.
High School: In-Game devices are currently ILLEGAL to wear in high school softball
Youth/Club: All players are eligible to use the devices
